Hello, I am a single mother of one. I am 22 years old really desiring to go to cosmetology school here in austin tx. I just wanted to know if there are any grants for this considering that I cannot afford 17,000 dollars by myself. I want to get my beauty license so that one day I may open up my very own family salon.

Hi I am looking for very specific detailed information of where exactly to apply for grants as a single mother…I would like to attend Ashworth online schooling for a Paralegal Certificate but every website just says to “google” the information or find it on the internet.. well this is where it brings me..everything else is just spam.Thanks

Hello, I am a single mother of a 5 month old and needing help with school. I want to go to Everest, But the school is asking for money that i cannot afford. I do not have a job and seeking severe help with my schooling situation. Im going for medical assistant, and than surgical tech. But going to that school is like paying science lab fees in high school. The materials, my uniform, working with certain tools that the school can provide, but i would have to pay for. Hi! I am a single mom of a 6 month old! I go to college full time for Business:Office Specialist. So therefore I do not have a job. I need help with living expensives because my mother kicked me and my son out when my son was 3 months and we just have been living here and there so far. I’ve been trying to get into a low-income apartment in my town for about 3 months now and I keep getting the run around. I would be so great ful if I could get some more grants so I am able to get my son and I a place to live! Any Info would be great!!

I’m a single mother of 2. I work full time and live with my parents as well. I’m looking for grants to help pay for college, because even with the Pell Grant and loans is still not covering all expenses.

I’m widowed single mother, I need to complete my 7 courses to get my degree MA in Psychology, this is getting so expensive for me to pay later with students loan, I need to save money to give education to my daughter she wants to go college ( she is in HS), I’m just about to loose all my version of credits, my limit time is January the 5th 2012 please help. He died in 2005 ever since that time I ‘m trying very difficult life.This is online courses so I can go to work during the day….thank you in advance.

Is it true that single fathers ca apply for this grant as well. I was told that I cant be discriminated because of sex. Any info is helpful.

I am looking for a grant to help with all my school needs and to help pay off my tuition. I’m a single mother of one and I work. My computer has went out and I’m not able to buy another because of the money. I have been going to the library to do home work. It has been very difficult for me because gas is high and finding a baby sitter so that I can go to the library is hard.
