I am writing on behalf of my daughter. She dropped out of school at age 15, went through all those things a mother dreads, and recently surprised me with her GED and her college acceptance letter. All of that is super except I didn't qualify to get her a FAFSA loan, and with two other younger kids and no child support (he spends time and not money which is actually more desireable) I cannot afford to pay for her first semester. I think I can save over the summer for her next year of collecge but it'll be very tight around the house - nothing new there. So - any ideas where to look to help this kid of mine stay on the right track? I want to support her any way I can. Thanks!

Hi My name is Jaymie Bowles, I'm 25 black woman and I am currently enrolled in the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. This school is a vocational school so it does not qualify for any government funding. I already have a BA of communications but I am not working in my field.

I live by myself in PA with all my family in MA. I work 2 jobs but most of my money is tied up in loans and rent. I am really interested in getting some kind of financial help to attend this school and finally have a career and not just a job!!

I am a US Navy military vet who deployed to Iraq. I am currently starting my fourth and final year at Mansfield University in PA as a criminal justice major. I am seeking any financial grants to help assist me during my final year of college.
