Hi I am a mom of 4. I was accepted at Global University to go back to school to become a medical assistant. I really need help in a way to pay for collage due to my two oldest boys are disabled and our income is stretched to the limit. But this will give my children and myself a better life in the long run. Thank you for your time to read this.

Hello! My name is Chelsea Qualls, and I graduated from Cabot High School in May of 2011. Cabot is a small town located in Arkansas; however, I moved on to a little bit of a better town called Sherwood. I had a goal for the four years I was in High School to attend a College that I knew would further my education. University of Phoenix found me. I am getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Web Design. I could not be happier than my choice in this institution. There is a slight backslide though, which happens to be the money. There are several thousands of students that struggle with money to go to College, and I am one of them. The financial aid through the institution helped me out a lot, but I am having to take out $4,000 some odd dollars a year for three to four years for furthering my education. I find this difficult for myself because I already had a hard time making myself finish High School due to lots of financial situations, and I am just hoping that I stick through this. I have a 4.0 grade point average, and I attend school regularly. I have not missed a class, I keep up with all my work, and participate in discussions. My first class, I passed with a 96.4%, and I am currently in my second class. I hope that some where out there, I can just find a little extra money to help go towards school so I can stop stressing out and make my dreams go the extra mile that I have always wanted to make them go. I am current attending Wayne State University. I am a Journalism major who needs some assistance with my education. Government grants will really be a huge help in this struggling economy. I have always been an advocate for education since I was in the first grade and having a college education will ensure me a better life, which is something everyone aspires to have.A grant that ranges from $1,000 to $8,000 will be a world of help.. Any assistance that is available will be greatly appreciated.

I am currently attending Bluffton University and still have money that I have to pay to be able to continue going here. My dad got laid off last October so I cannot get a loan so unless I pay this money off I will probably have to take time off and make money. I am a junior studying Criminal Justice so going away for a semester or so would really hurt. I really need a grant to be able to continue studying here and finish my degree.

I was accepted ED to AMerican University for Fall 2012. My EFC is 00017. ($17) I received $19500 in grant and 5500 Federal Loans. The balance remaining is $23000. My mother cannot get approved for a loan. I appealed for a merit scholarship but unfortunately was turned down. My GPA is 3.8 -4.1 weighted. My older sister graduated from American and was a recipient of an Academic Scholarship as well as an Athletic Scholarship. Ever since I stepped foot on the campus I knew it was for me. I need advice on how to make this happen. I have been accepted in to the International School of Service. I plan to double major in International Relations and Business. Any information on the direction I should pursue would be greatly appreciated. Because if my sister, I do have a work study job availableto me should I find the funds. Thank you for your help. I am 18 years old, I Was born in the El Paso, Tx, I Study my last year in a Preparatory , I want to study first in El Paso Community College, to continue a accounting career in the UTEP (Univesity of Texas of the el Paso) , I really need the grants and scholarship to leave Cd Juarez, Chih, Mexico who is 100 Violent and Insecure to study and live.

I am 41 year old. I am struggling to transfer from community college to a university. But these days, times are tough. My job would not pay me enough so that I can go back to college. Even if were to go back to school I would end up at the same community college facility. I would apply for Federal Student Aid but they would reject because I had taken so many classes these past few years. I am trying to major in either business or commercial art. Is there any kind of scholarship that can help me to go back to school without all the hassle?

I am a woman in her early 40′s that has had a very disadvanted life and due to being a ward of the state as a juvinille, I never received a proper education, yet was fortunate for a GED. I have struggled for years because of past legal problems when it comes to becoming employed. I have struggled for many years, and want nothing more than to find a career, which I have chosen. I have just enrolled in a medical assistant program, whcih I still may be denied of as I was my first choice of criminal justice, due to my past problems. I have applied for pell and subsidized grants and even student loans, but still have a remaining balance. I have no job, no home… I live in a machine shop that is a business, and no credit. I need to know if there are any grants out there to help someone who just wants a better life and to get away from having no life and just wants a chance to achieve that???? Please refer me to anything or any direction that can help. I am desperate!
